President

Darrell leads the entrepreneurial team at Advisor Hunt™, bringing decades of M&A experience across multiple industries to the specialized world of financial advisor practice successions. He has led complex transactions globally—from billion-dollar cross-border deals to the seamless transition of boutique advisory practices.

An expert in deal structuring, Darrell designs transactions that align buyer and seller interests, reduce transition risk and maximize practice value on both sides of the deal. He is the creator of Optimal Practice Succession™—the leading program for advisor successions—designed to preserve legacies, ensure client continuity, and deliver superior outcomes for all parties, including, and especially, your clients.

Johnathan Ciliberto BComm, RRC

Vice-President

Johnathan is a trusted consultant to financial advisors, specializing in the sale, acquisition, and seamless transition of advisory practices to leading platforms. With expertise in financial planning and succession strategies, he helps advisors secure their legacy with clarity and confidence.

He ensures business continuity while safeguarding client relationships—leaving clients in the best hands possible. Johnathan also provides confidential access to explore industry opportunities, helping advisors stay competitive and positioned for future growth.

Multilingual, he bridges geographic markets and ensures clear communication. Drawing on deep industry experience, Johnathan empowers advisors to navigate the complex industry and the nuances of their profession, elevating the way they serve clients.

Vincent Boudreau BComm

Vice-President

Vincent is an expert in recruiting and consulting for financial advisors, financial planners, investment advisors, mutual fund representatives, portfolio managers and financial security advisors.

His job is to help financial advisers to obtain the best return and the best commissions rate, to increase their level of independence, to have better support for compliance and the administration of files, to have access to state-of-the-art tools and benefit from generous incentives for transferring their assets to another platform.

He also supports advisors in the sale and purchase of client portfolios, particularly those looking for growth or succession.

Prior to this role, Vincent worked as a Financial Advisor for Laurentian Bank. He therefore knows the advisers’ environment well.

Vincent is a level 3 candidate in the CFA Institute program and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from the University of Montreal. Vincent speaks English and French.

Robert Parnigoni BCompSc

Director – Operations & Technology

Robert ensures the smooth running of our operations, including leveraging our tools and technology for efficient and effective client service. He manages our team that keeps our consultants market-facing, talking to clients and the types of people who our clients want to meet.

Prior to Advisor Hunt, Robert worked with some of the world’s leading technology and digital-economy companies, including Cisco Systems, Nortel and Newbridge Networks. Rob earned his Bachelors in Computer Science from Concordia University.

Leon Iragena BSc, MBA

Director

Leon supports wealth management professionals with succession planning, practice transitions, and growth through acquisition or platform change. He works with advisors preparing to retire, restructure, or upgrade, ensuring smooth transitions and long-term value.

With leadership experience at Scotiabank and National Bank of Canada, Leon offers practical, discreet guidance rooted in deep industry knowledge. He holds an MBA in Financial Services from Laval University and a BSc. in Applied Mathematics and Quantitative Economics from Millsaps College.

Fluent in English and French, Leon serves advisors across North America, and is known for his clarity, transparency, and steady approach to critical decisions.

François Dufour BComm, MSc, MBA
(Frank)

Director

François serves successful financial advisors, facilitating succession planning and growth via the purchase and sale of advisor practices.

Firms that François partners with include RIAs, Private Counsel, Financial Planners, Banks, and Family Offices.

Prior to joining Advisor Hunt™, François was an institutional marketer for well known investment firms as well as a wholesaler for prominent mutual fund companies. François started his career as a financial advisor serving 250 families and, therefore, his combined experience puts him in a great position to understand the advisors’ and their clients’ reality.

François obtained a Bachelor degree from Bishop’s University, a Master of Science from ESCEM-Poitiers, a private business school in France, and a Master in Business (International Management) from Sherbrooke University.

Juan Luis Hernández Garcia

Director of Finance

Juan Luis handles the day-to-day financial operations at Advisor Hunt, making sure the numbers add up and everything stays on track. He manages budgets, keeps reports organized, and helps the team stay on top of expenses and cash flow. With experience in accounting and financial planning & analysis, along with his degree in commerce and accounting from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, he supports the business with reliable accounting and solid financial routines. Juan Luis helps keep things running smoothly so the team can focus on serving advisors.
